Accessibility

We want everyone who visits Investprestoncity.com to be able to find, read and understand our content.

We aim to make our content meet the accessibility standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at an AA standard and aim to go above and beyond the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018.

View the website your way

Our Accessibility Statement explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). We aim to achieve AA standards on our websites.

Navigation

Navigate by headings

You can use browser plugins or assistive technology such as screen readers to list the headings and sub-headings on the page.

Navigate by links

Users of assistive technology such as screen readers can get a list of all the links on a page and understand their purpose from the link text.

Navigate by keyboard

Keyboard focus

A keyboard focus is provided to allow a visual aid for keyboard users when navigating over interactive elements, such as links and form fields, on a web page using the tab key.

Navigation and reading order

The navigation order in which interactive elements receive keyboard focus (reading order for screen reader users) is logical and follows the visual flow of the page: left to right, top to bottom.

Readability

We have ensured that the design of our website is not an obstacle to its usability and readability, and that it will work on a variety of devices with different screen sizes.

We have used a colour palette on the website that ensures good contrast.

We have made every effort to ensure our website is easily readable using 'plain English' by removing jargon and using more simple language where possible.
